We have done many projects with Fountainhead Foodservice and have always had a great experience. They have an attention to detail that is invaluable and have often gone above and beyond for projects, making site visits, identifying potential challenges and providing solutions. It is exactly that kind of partnership that makes them a valued member of our team and makes us look forward to working with them on future projects.

In 2019, we undertook a huge project renovating a building adjacent to our ferry terminal. We were creating a full- service restaurant; as well as a Grab and Go Express restaurant in the same building.
We contracted with Fountainhead Foodservice for all our restaurant equipment. This proved to be the wisest decision we could have made!
From designing the kitchens, to sourcing and installing the equipment; Ryan Peach and his team were fantastic!
Even more impressive than the initial equipment installation was (and is) the incredible support we have received since we have opened for business. Any issues with our kitchen equipment are quickly resolved with Ryan’s assistance. Warranty questions get resolved easily and Fountainhead fights for our side until this very day.
I would highly recommend Fountainhead Foodservice!

Dear Jim,
I am left with the challenge of offering superlatives that best capture the exceptional experience of working with you and your team of aligned professionals that provided such an exceptional project, ahead of schedule, on budget and simply & exceptionally stress free.
Who does this level of work?
In a world of lowering expectations, missed emails, terrible follow up, how fortunate we are to have met and engaged the services of Fountainhead Foodservice Group. Communicate, communicate, communicate is surely one of the stellar core values of your team as well as providing amazing, practical advice at every step.
You delivered a solid piece of jewelry in our new fine, fast casual concept and there is no doubt that the efficiency and craftsmanship are something to be modeled for our Farmer and the Fork Café.
We cannot thank you enough, nor sing your praises loud enough, and hopefully we get the opportunity to work with your group once again. We wish you continued and deserved success.
Best Regards,
John Lawrence Co-owner; Peppers Artful Events @ Tower Hill Botanic Garden

Fountainhead has been our go-to source for foodservice equipment, and equipment intel, since Fountainhead began. In fact, I first met Jim Whiffen in the 1980s and have relied on his encyclopedic knowledge ever since. You might think that another source is a point or two cheaper, but Fountainhead’s thoughtful input in the myriad decisions that go into foodservice design, as well as their meticulous attention to detail as the job proceeds, more than make up the difference.
Here’s the story of our first meeting: I was frustrated that my prior source, a Boston equipment dealer, would not/could not provide substantive answers to my questions. For example, for my reach-ins, should I use Traulsen or Glenco? The dismissive answer “It depends on how much you want to spend” just made me crazy. When I met Jim Whiffen and asked him the same question, he responded with “Tell me about the applications.” As he understood the planned uses, he proceeded to detail a half dozen features of the Traulsen, the split door option and its stainless interior on the doors, its recovery capability, the Tecumseh compressor, etc. that made it the best choice in one application and probably not needed in another. I’ve walked a number of jobs in progress with him where he sees things BEFORE they were problems, things that would be really hard and Lord knows how expensive to correct later. You can’t put a number on that.
